Hi, I'm Em (Emma) Strain I'm a 48 year old mother of 3 boys and 2 cats

I am an artist, working from home in the North East of England/UK.

I work in acrylic, watercolour, oil, and mixed media.

I have clients up and down the country in the UK and in the US.

I trained in graphic design, but it was never something | decided to venture into.

I decided to pick up some paint brushes after I had my 3rd child at the age of 36,

and I've not put them down since.

My father is an artist, and all 3 of my children have studied art,

following in mine and my father's passion.

My eldest child studied with the London college of Art and is now working self-employed in the art industry.

It's inspiring to be surrounded by so many creatives.
