My name is Karen Atkinson of Artful Bee.  I hand paint glassware and paint watercolours.   Everything I paint is inspired by meadowlands and the beauty of the natural landscape around us in Northumberland. 

 

On glassware I paint wild flowers, from dandelion heads to poppies, all in a light open style and all individual. 

 

For my watercolours I focus on birds, butterflies and flowers.  These are highly detailed as I am always awestruck by the complexity of the natural world. 

 

I am happy to undertake commissions for both my glassware and watercolours for that extra special, unique gift.
